Random Thoughts on Life

I remember one popular saying that I often used when I lost anything in my life — Life is a series of partings. However true this might be, it doesn’t make it any easier on your brain, heart or soul.

Over the past few years, I have lost quite a lot. I haven’t cried my self to sleep because I have insomnia but I have been hurt, and saddened countless times. One day, I might choke on all these tears I hold inside — That day, my stream of sorrow will flow.

What makes a man? — That’s a question asked by many and yet few have the right answer to it. Some will argue that a real man’s word is his bond, others will lean on the theory of his actions, while others will bend towards how he treats the lesser man, and the most critical will judge his character.

But, what makes a man?

I think what makes a man is what makes him feel vulnerable and yet ready to tackle it in whatever way possible. Holding himself above the water sent to drown him.

What makes a man is a combination of his words, actions, compassion, kindness, generosity, character, and most of all how he treats his neighbor.
